About Voices@SMU Week 2025
Voices@SMU Week 2025 (25 - 29 August 2025) is a transformative campus-wide journey "From Me to We" where students discover the power within their voice and the extraordinary strength that emerges when we stand together.
Set against the backdrop of a "camp-us" campsite, this year's theme invites you to join fellow students around the metaphorical campfire of community - representing warmth, safety, and connection. Here, we will explore what it means to build a space where everyone feels they belong.
Like fireflies, each of us carry our own unique light – our experiences, perspectives, and stories that shape who we are. Collectively, we shine brighter, and spark hope for others.
Join us as we embark on a three-part journey of self-discovery, community building, and collective action:
- Deepen awareness of interpersonal dynamics and challenges
- Enhance our personal agency
- Embrace collective agency to take meaningful action
Together, we can illuminate our campus with respect, inclusivity, and support for all.
